WBJEEB will conduct OMR based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2023) for admission in the academic session 2023-24 for Undergraduate Courses in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self-Financing Engineering / Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on 23 April 2023 (Sunday).

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Kolkata will release the WBJEE Admit Card on the official website at least a week before the examination date. Eligible candidates will be able to download the admit cards by using the application registration number and date of birth. A direct link to access the admit card will be activated on this webpage accordingly.

The entrance test is conducted once a year. The purpose of this entrance test is to offer admission to various engineering courses at different colleges/institutions in West Bengal. For the year 2023, the board invited online applications from candidates from 23 December 2022 to 20 January 2023.

WBJEE Selection Process

The candidates will be offered admission to their chosen courses on basis of their performance in various phases as mentioned below:

• Written Examination: An OMR-based exam will be conducted for Mathematics and Physics & Chemistry subjects. There will be two papers.
• Counselling Session: Depending on the written exam result, a merit list will be published. The qualified candidates will be called for counselling sessions for multiple colleges as per their course selection and marks scored in the written examination.
• Document Verification: The candidate will get their documents verified during the counselling sessions and thereafter in the institutes.
• Admission List: A list of shortlisted candidates will be published by colleges post counselling and document verification. The list will be published for different courses with the names of shortlisted students.

The examination board will conduct an OMR-based examination. Candidates must be aware that the questions will be asked on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. The scheme of the examination will be as follows:

WBJEE Admit cards and Rank cards are issued based on the information provided by the candidate during submitting an online application form. All verifications are done during and after counselling by the allotted Institute after certain phases. Hence candidates cannot assume that the personal information shown on the admit card, and the rank card is approved by the Examination Board.

Candidates must check and verify that the information printed on the admit card is correct. There will be the candidate’s name, Father’s Name, Course Name, Examination Board’s Name, and other instructions. Candidates must check the spelling etc. If any error is found, produce a document with valid information at any stage for necessary rectification.

3. Click on the WBJEE Admit Card link.
4. Fill in the required information i.e. Registration Number and Date of Birth.
5. Verify the input details and click on Submit.
6. Finally, download your respective Admit Cad.
7. Print it for further use.
