West Bengal Board of Primary Education is going to organize Primary Teachers Eligibility Test-2022. The examination date is 11 December 2022. In order to conduct the examination smoothly, the board will set up examination centres in various districts across the state.

For the test, the state education board will release WB TET Hall Admit Card named to the eligible candidates in online mode. Candidates will be able to access the same from the official website by using the application registration number and date of birth. A direct link referring to the official portal will be activated at least one week before the exam date.

WBTET is a state-level eligibility test for determining the eligibility level of candidates to become a teacher in the schools of West Bengal. WBBPE is the authority to conduct the test. The test is conducted as per National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE) guidelines.

WB TET Hall Ticket 2022

The WBTET is conducted once a year. Qualified candidates are awarded a certificate of being eligible to apply for Primary Teachers recruitment in West Bengal. This year, applications for West Bengal TET were invited from 14 October to 03 November 2022.

West Bengal TET Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern

• WB TET Paper 1 will be conducted for Classes 1 to 5.
• The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
• There are a total of 5 subjects that are asked in the examination.
• One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Candidates will get a time of three hours to complete the exam.

WB TET Hall Ticket Details – Instructions

The hall ticket will comprise details that are relevant to the candidates, exam information and instructions to be followed by the candidates in the paper. Aspirants must check the details printed on the hall ticket thoroughly. If there is any error, candidates can request to the examination authority for necessary rectification after producing a supporting document.

At the time of the exam, candidates are required to carry a photo identity proof along with the WB TET Hall Ticket print. Without the necessary documentation, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. A valid photo identity card for this purpose may be among the following documents:

• Voter’s ID Card
• Driving License
• Pan Card
• College/ institution ID Card
