West Bengal College Service Commission has conducted its 24th State Eligibility Test recently. The examination was held on 8 January 2023 (Sunday) at various prescribed examination centres across the state. The commission will further release the WB SET answer key for this exam on its website soon.
WBCSC organized the State Eligibility Test in multiple shifts on the day. Paper 1 was taken from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM while Paper 2 timings were from 12:00 Noon to 02:00 PM. Every year, the commission conducts the State Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in the colleges and universities of the state. The test is taken for 33 subjects.
As per the reports, this year more than one lakh candidates appeared in the SET exam across the state. The candidates who perform well in the eligibility test will be able to apply for the recruitment of Assistant Professors accordingly.

The candidates who registered for the West Bengal SET well in time i.e. from 16 August to 15 September 2022 and whose candidature was found valid appeared in the competitive exam on the scheduled date. As the test is over, the candidates are now looking for the answer key and paper solution for this test which will be released soon.
West Bengal SET Answer Key Release – Objections Process
As we already mentioned, the West Bengal State Eligibility Test held for a total of 33 subjects. The organization will release the subject-wise answer keys for this exam within a week. First, a provisional answer key will be released. This key may have incorrect answers and candidates should find them out and challenge them by submitting an objection.
The schedule for objection submission will be released on the portal and the same can be sent through email. The details will be provided on the official website in this regard.
