Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants should have passed their Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with minimum qualifying marks. Along with this, candidates have able to read, write and speak the Bengali language & this provision will not be applicable to applicants who are permanent residents of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
The minimum age for applying for constable jobs is 18 years and not more than 30 years old as on 01 January 2023. Age relaxation in upper age limits will also be provided for reserved categories such as for SC/ST candidates 5 years, and for OBC candidates 3 years. The relaxation in the upper age limit for NVF and Home Guard will also be provided according to the Government rules. No age relaxation will be provided to civic volunteers.

Police Constable Application Fee
The application fee is fixed for all categories of candidates, those applicants who will submit their application form without fee then their form will be rejected by the recruitment board. The application fee details are explained below:

- For SC & ST categories: ₹20
The application fee will not be refundable under any circumstances.
