The Union Public Service Commission published the result of the Civil Service Preliminary Exam on its website. The result of the Civil Service Preliminary exam has been uploaded as per names and registration numbers. Applicants can check their UPSC Civil Service Result on the online website of the commission. Candidates whose names & roll numbers are available in the merit list will participate in the Mains examination. The main examination will be organised soon by the UPSC.
Approximately 1105 vacancies will be filled through this CSP exam which includes 37 vacancies reserved for the PWD candidates. The Prelims exam was conducted on 28 May 2023 in two sessions, the first was from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM and the second was from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Applicants who appeared in the written exam can check their results.

After the declaration of the prelims exam result, the shortlisted candidates need to appear for the main examination. The candidates who will be invited for the main examination about twelve to thirteen times the total number of vacancies.
UPSC Exam Overview
- The exam was organised in offline mode.
- The prelims exam of UPSC contained two papers of objective type.
- The exam was conducted for 200 marks.
- The given duration for each paper was 2 hours.
- Both of the papers were given in Hindi & English.
- For each wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted.
UPSC CSP Minimum Qualifying Marks & Cut-off Score
The commission already set the criteria to qualify for the prelims exam. The minimum passing mark for the CSP prelims exam is 33% for each candidate. For appearing in the main written exam, applicants must have to be secured the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims test. The expected cut-off marks have been given below:
