The Union Public Service Commission completed the online registration process for the Civil Services Examination for the year 2023 on 21st February. In the next few days, the commission will release the timetable for this examination. It is known that the written test is conducted in two phases i.e. Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam.
Since this exam is conducted nationwide, the number of applicants is more in this. The commission will soon start the process of checking the received application forms. This may take about three months. The commission has released an exam notice mentioning that the UPSC CSE preliminary exam date is 28th May. After this, the Main Examination will be conducted in September.
The commission will release the UPSC CSE Admit Card for each stage. The download links will be issued on the official website about two weeks before the exam. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their User ID and Date of Birth. A relevant link will be activated on this webpage accordingly.

UPSC CSE (Civil Services) Admit Cards Details – Exam Instructions
UPSC Admit Card for Civil Services Exam will be released at least ten days before every successive stage. The admit card will comprise essential details i.e. Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Category, Photograph, Examination Centre Name, Date and Time of the examination etc. The candidates must check these details thoroughly. If there is an error, contact the exam authority for the necessary rectification.
At the time of exam, the candidates are required to bring a photo identity proof in original and photocopy along with the UPSC CSE Admit Card print. Valid documents for identification purposes may be among the following documents:
