Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission successfully conducted the Provincial Civil Service preliminary examination on 14 May 2023 in all cities across the state. This exam was organised to fill up the different posts such as Deputy Jailor, Excise Inspector, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, D.S.P, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Law officer, Technical Assistant (Geology & Geophysics) and Tax Assessment Officer.
As per the notification, a total of 173 posts will be filled up in various departments of the UP Government. For each post, a different pay scale will be provided to the selected candidates as per the 6th pay commission. Since the preliminary exam is completed now, the participants are in search of results. The UPPSC Upper PCS Result will be announced on the authorised website of the commission.

The candidates can check the answer key of the exam to get an idea of marks before the declaration of the result. After the publication of the result, a direct link will be activated we are provided at the end of the article.
Firstly, the commission will publish the prelims exam result and only shortlisted candidates will take part in the main exam. Those applicants who passed the prelims exam, need to fill up the application form once again for the main exam. Along with this, the application fee will also be submitted and it will differ for various categories. The application form will open on the commission website after the announcement of the preliminary exam result.
UPPSC PCS Expected Cut-off Marks
The UPPSC has not yet released the cut-off list of the PCS written exam. The cut-off is the minimum mark to qualify for the prelims test. The cut-off score may be variable according to reserved and unreserved categories. Apart from this, only passed applicants will apply for the main exam. The expected cut-off score has been mentioned below:

How to check the UPPSC PCS Result 2023 for various posts?
- Open the organisation webportal i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in
- Scroll down, and go to the important segments section.
- In this section, click on the “Results” tab.
- Search for Provincial Civil Service Prelims Exam Result & click on it.
- The result will be downloaded to your device.
- Open it and check your result by roll number.
