Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission conducted the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) prelims exam on 14 May 2023. More than five lakh candidates who belong to different districts of UP were taken part in the preliminary written test. Now, examinees are waiting for the Provincial Civil Service Examination answer key. The UPPSC will issue the Upper PCS Answer key in the upcoming days on uppsc.up.nic.in website.
As per the notification, the PCS exam was conducted to fill a total of 173 vacant posts in different departments of Uttar Pradesh. We are advised to applicants regularly visit the commission website for any latest updates regarding the publication of the answer key.

The name of vacancies is Deputy Jailor, Excise Inspector, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, D.S.P, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Law officer, Technical Assistant (Geology & Geophysics) and Tax Assessment Officer post will be filled up through the PCS exam.
PCS Prelims Exam Overview
The exam consisted of two papers Paper 1 was conducted from 9:30 to 11:30 AM and Paper 2 was from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Both papers contained multiple-choice questions. The duration of each paper was 120 minutes. Each paper was carried out for 200 marks. An offline exam i.e. OMR sheet based was conducted by the the UPPSC.

UPPSC PCS Answer Key Objection details
The answer key will be released by the commission after the completion of the exam. Answer key essential to get a rough idea of marks secured by the examinees. The UPPSC firstly will issue the tentative answer key, candidates download it and match their answers with it. The commission will also open an objection window for those applicants who want to raise objections against the provisional answer key if they have any doubts.
The objection form will be available on the organisation site after the publication of the provisional answer key. To submit the objection form, candidates will upload a valid proof of the wrong answer in the answer key with an objection fee. After verifying all details, the final answer key will be published by the commission.

- Then click on the PCS Answer Key link.
- The tentative answer key will be downloaded.
- Open it and match your answer with it.
