UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2023 Released. Check Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination Details and pattern @ uppsc.up.nic.in
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released a notification on 1 March 2023 about the Provisional Civil Service (PCS) examination. The application forms were started on 3 March 2023. The last date for registration is 6 April 2023.
This examination is being conducted to fill the 173 vacancies as released in the notification for the post of Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Assistant Commissioner, District Commandent Homeguards, Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Senior Lecturer DIET, Assistant Commissioner Industries, Statistical Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, and many more.
The UPPSC PCS Admit Card is released on the website at least a week before the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services examination date. The examination will be held on 14 May 2023.

Selection Process
The candidate will give a written examination which will be conducted in two shifts. A candidate needs to score a minimum of 33 % to clear the examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the main examination. After the mains examination, Viva-Voice/ Personality test will be conducted to check the candidate’s general awareness, intelligence, character, expression of power/personality and general suitability for the service. The interview test is a maximum of 100 marks. A few jobs also require a physical test.
PCS Exam Pattern
There has been a change in the exam pattern from this year onwards. The notification of the exam pattern was released on 3 January 2023.
Preliminary Examination-
The examination will be conducted in two shifts both held on the same day. Morning shift from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. Paper- 1 will have 150 questions and paper two will have 100 questions. Both papers are of 200 marks. The time for each exam is 3 hours.

Candidates need to carry the UPPSC Upper PCS Admit Card to the examination centre as well as a verification id. For downloading your admit card, you can follow the steps given below.
- Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission @uppsc.up.nic.in.
- On the homepage, under the candidate’s help desk section.
- Go to download admit card.
- Click on UPPSC PCS Admit Card.
- Fill in your registration details.
- Download your admit card and take a printout.
