Like every year, Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh will conduct the Polytechnic Entrance Examination in June 2023. The exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) to offer admission to various polytechnic courses in engineering or non-engineering fields.

UPJEE(P) is a state-level examination for candidates seeking admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Every year lakhs of candidates take this exam to get admission in various courses under this programme.

The entrance exam will be conducted in the upcoming days. The new exam schedule is not announced yet. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from 01 June to 05 June 2023. But the exam has been deferred. The new exam dates have been announced and the exam will take place from 02 august to 06 August.

Eligible candidates will be issued JEECUP Admit Cards through the official website. The examination board will not send any admit cards through post or any other medium. Candidates can download the same using the application registration details.

The application registration for UP Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic started on 06 March and concluded on 01 May 2023. Thereafter, candidates were given a chance for application correction from 02 to 08 May 2023.

UPJEE Polytechnic Paper Pattern

• JEECUP is an offline examination i.e. paper-pen mode.
• Question papers are printed both in Hindi and English.
• In the exam, 100 objective-type questions will be asked.
• Each question carries 4 marks, thus the exam will be conducted for a total of 400 marks.
• The duration of the exam will be three hours for each session.
