Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd is initiating a recruitment for various posts of Junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Assistant Managers for the implementation of Metro Rail projects in various cities in the State of Uttar Pradesh. The organization will conduct a Computer-based examination for these posts. The exam is proposed to be held in the first week of January 2023.
In the recruitment notification, it is also stated that the organization will release UP Metro Admit Cards to eligible candidates in the second week of December 2022. The candidates will be able to download the admit cards from the official website of UPMRC. To get the admit card, candidates are required to log in using the application registration number and date of birth.

The recruitment is open for a total of 142 vacancies. A massive number of candidates have applied for these posts. Applicants are eagerly waiting for the final examination schedule. UPMRC AE, JE, AM Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the posts will be held on one or more days. The schedule will be released on the official website soon. The question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi. It will consist of multiple-choice objective-type questions to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline.
- There will be a total of 140 questions for various categories.
- Each question will be carrying equal marks.
- There will be a negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- The Paper shall be of 2 hours duration.
UP Metro Admit Card Details – Exam Instructions & Download Link
The UPMRC Admit Card for AE, JE and AM posts will comprise the candidate’s personal details. Candidates should download it online and check that the details are correct. If an error is found, the candidates must contact the exam authority’s office for necessary rectification using the supporting documents.
In addition, candidates will be able to check the examination centre name and exam timings on the admit card print. Candidates must reach to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam timing. Also, candidates are required to carry a valid photo identity proof along with the admit card print.
