Uttarakhand Polytechnic Test is a state-level examination, which is also referred to as Uttarakhand Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP). Every year thousands of students appear in the UBTER JEEP Exam to get admission to different Polytechnic Colleges and Institutions of Uttarakhand. Registered candidates sat in the entrance test on the scheduled date at the examination centres located across the state. UBTER JEEP Merit List 2023
After the declaration of Uttarakhand Polytechnic Results, the examination board will publish a merit list on the website. There will be the names of the qualified candidates along with the marks secured by them in the entrance test. These candidates will be called up for Counselling and document verification.
The merit list will be used as the basis for the selection of eligible students at the time of counselling. If more than one candidate obtains equal marks in the examination then tie-breaking criteria will be used. For this, the following procedure will be used:
- First of all, the candidate’s birthdate will be considered.
- If there is still a tie, marks scored in mathematics will be checked.
- If needed, the marks in the Chemistry subject will be taken.
- If the tie is still there, the biology marks will be considered.
UBTER JEEP Rank Card – Uttarakhand Polytechnic Scorecard
The qualified candidates will be issued Rank Cards/Scorecards. The board will not send physical scorecards to the qualified candidates. Students can download it online from the official website. On the UBTER JEEP Rank Card, the following details will be mentioned:

Uttarakhand Polytechnic (UBTER JEEP-2023) Counselling
UBTER JEEP counselling is done online in multiple rounds. The first round of counselling will be conducted in the second/third week of July. In this, colleges/seats will be allotted to the qualified candidates. If there are still vacant seats in the participating colleges and institutions after the first round of counselling, a second round of counselling will be conducted.
The counselling results will be published on the official website. Candidates can log in to the candidate’s portal to see their performance and result. After checking the result students have to appear in the allotted college with original documents and copies to get admission.
