Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL) has released the latest recruitment notification for Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Lineman posts. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various posts through the proforma Application to be made available at tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in.

There are a total of 1601 vacancies among which 1553 vacancies are available for Junior Lineman posts while 48 vacancies are for Assistant Engineer posts which will be filled up through this recruitment drive. Notifications are released officially now on the official website of TSSPDCL.

The registration process will start from 23 February onwards. The selection for the Assistant Engineer and Junior Lineman posts will be done on basis of a written examination. • Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 48 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant Engineer – Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a Recognized University in India.
• Junior Lineman – Applicants must possess SSLC/SSC/10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman or 2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Trade.

• Assistant Engineer – Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years. The age is reckoned as of 01.01.2023. The Upper age limit of 44 years is relaxable up to 5 years in respect of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates and up to 10 years in respect of Physically Handicapped candidates.
• Junior Lineman – Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as of 01.01.2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit is permissible for up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates.
