The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) conducts the Group 1 examination every year to select candidates for various administrative and executive positions in the state government. The Group 1 exam consists of a Preliminary written test, Main Test and an interview, and candidates who qualify for all three rounds are eligible for appointment to the various posts.
The Preliminary Test was conducted on 16 October 2022. It is reposted that more than 3 lakh candidates had appeared in the preliminary test that was conducted at 1000 examination centres across the state.

The TSPSC Group 1 exam is a highly competitive exam, and only a small percentage of candidates who appear for the exam are able to qualify. The selection process is based on the marks obtained in the written test and the interview, and the final selection is based on the combined scores of both rounds.
