Osmania University, Hyderabad has successfully concluded the Telangana State Eligibility Test. The test was conducted to test the eligibility of the candidates for the post of Lecturers/ Professor Assistant in the State University/ College.

The exam was conducted on 14, 15, and 17 March 2023. The exam was conducted in 14 centres. The TS- SET 2023 result is available on the official portal. The candidates who clear the examination will be considered for the post when a vacancy for that job is available.

The students who have cleared the cut-off will be called for the counselling process where they will have to bring their documents. Then the candidates will be allotted to the colleges based. All the students who have cleared the exam will not be getting the jobs, it all depends on the scores and the number of vacancies and the merit list for your placement.

Exam Overview

The exam was taken in two papers. Each paper was taken to determine the candidate’s capability in that subject. The time given for both examinations was 3 hours. The exam was of the difficulty level between easy to moderate.

Paper- 1 – It had 50 objective-type questions. Each carries 2 marks. The questions were intended to assess the candidate’s teaching aptitude as well as the test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness.

Paper-2 – It had 100 objective-type questions. For each correct answer, 2 marks were awarded and there was no negative marking for incorrect answers.

TS- SET Exam Cut-Off

The minimum passing marks of the examination are set by Osmania University, and the candidates who qualify will be shortlisted. The university tries to maintain an approximate cut-off each year as per the trend going on for years analysed by our team. For the unreserved category minimum qualifying mark is 40% whereas, for OC/BC/SC/ST and transgender category minimum qualifying mark is 35%. This is only the minimum marks but the candidates who will be placed will be from the merit list where candidates’ marks will be written from highest to lowest.

2. On the header of the homepage, you will see the tab for TS-SET results.
3. Click on that tab and download it.
4. Search your roll number written on the admit card and check whether you have qualified or not.
