State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, Hyderabad conducted the “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” on 17 May 2023. TS Polycet is a state-level entrance exam which is a gateway to getting admission to various diploma courses.
Through this exam, candidates are offered admission to various government, private and aided polytechnic institutions of Telangana state in the field of Engineering/ Non-Engineering and Technology.
The examination board has released the answer key for this exam on the official website today. Candidates can download the answer key from the portal and check their respective paper set key. A direct link to download the same is added to this webpage.
The organization started the registration process of online application forms in January 2023. Starting from 16 January, the organization accepted application forms without a late fee till 24 April 2023. The entrance test was held at various examination centres across the state on 17 May 2023.

Every year a massive number of candidates take this entrance test every year. This year too, a massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The examinees are waiting for the answer key over the Internet. The unofficial answer key prepared by the exam centres will be released by the evening. TS POLYCET Exam Analysis
The questions were asked on mathematics (60 questions), physics (30 questions), biology (30 questions), and chemistry (30 questions). Each question carries one mark. The question paper comprised a total of 150 marks.
There is no negative mark for incorrect responses. The candidates were given a time of 2 ½ hours i.e. 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM to complete the examination.
Telangana Polytechnic Answer Key – Objection Submission
The examination board first released a provisional answer key soon after the examination on the official website. This TS POLYCET Preliminary Answer Key may have incorrect answers. So, candidates must check this key thoroughly.
If an incorrect answer is found, you can challenge the same. For this, candidates need to submit an objection form after paying a certain amount as an objection fee. Along with the objection form, candidates must attach a valid document supporting the correct answer. The objection fee will be refundable if the objection is found valid.
After checking the received objection form, the examination board will release a revised answer key. This will be the final answer key. The result will be prepared on the basis of this answer key.
