The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE, Tripura) completed the application registration process for Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination – Tripura 2023 (DEEET-2023) on 31 March 2023. Now, the organization will check the received application forms and an Entrance Test will be conducted thereafter.
Right now, the organization has not released the examination date. It is expected that the entrance test will be conducted in May-June 2023. An examination notice will be released on the official website as and when it is announced officially.
The DEEET Tripura is a state-level Diploma Entrance Exam (Polytechnic Entrance Exam) and is basically conducted for those students who want to get admission to 3-year Diploma Engineering Courses (Polytechnic) for Academic Session 2023–24. It is organized by Central Selection Committee (CSC).

The organization started online application registration for DEEET-2023 in March. Registration started on 10 March and the last date to submit the online application form was 31 March 2023. Within two or three months the organization will conduct an entrance test.
The qualified students are offered admission in 3-year Diploma Engineering Courses for Academic Session 2023-24 in Tripura Institute of Technology (Narsingarh), Women’s Polytechnic (Hapania), Dhalai District Polytechnic (Ambassa), Gomati District Polytechnic (Udaipur), North Tripura District Polytechnic (Dharmanagar), TTAADC Polytechnic Institute (Khumulwng), Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Agartala and Techno College of Engineering, Agartala in different branches of the respective institutes of Tripura.
Tripura DEEET Examination Scheme
The entrance exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode for all the candidates who have applied for this exam. In the exam, there will be multiple-choice questions. The questions will be asked on different subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physical Sciences/ Science (Physics & Chemistry) & English. The scheme of the examination is as follows:
- The question paper will carry 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Each question will be carrying four marks.
- Thus, the exam will have a total of 400 marks.
- The duration of the test will be of 2 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for a wrong answer.

The organization will issue admit cards to the eligible candidates online. The Tripura DEEET Admit Card download link will be activated at least two weeks before the examination date. Candidates can download the admit card from the website by using the application registration number and date of birth. There will be the following information on an admit card:
