TNTET Hall Tickets 2023 Released For Paper 2, Exam From 3 February

Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has released the TNTET Hall Tickets for Paper 2 which is scheduled to be conducted from 3 Feb. The TN TET Paper 2 Hall Tickets are released in two phases. In the first phase, candidates are getting a district admit card in which they will get to know the exam district and exam date. The venue admit card can be downloaded 3 days before the exam date.

The candidates for the Paper 2 of the TNTET can download the Hall Tickets online. The candidates should be aware that the hall tickets will not be sent to the registered postal addresses. Thus, they have to download and take a printout of the TNTET Hall Ticket.

About TNTET Paper 2: As per the guidelines and norms of NCTE, state education boards or teacher recruitment boards need to conduct the Eligibility Test for the candidates who wish to join teachers in state government-operated schools.

TNTET Paper II is conducted for the Upper Primary Classes of 6 to 8. Paper 1 has already been conducted by the TRB in October last year.

This time, the TNTET exam will be conducted as a computer-based test. Earlier, it used to be conducted as an OMR-Based Test.

TRB TET Paper 2 Exam Pattern

• The TN TET Paper 2 will be conducted for Classes 6 to 8.
• There will be 150 MCQs on each paper for 150 marks.
• The exam will last for three hours.

Child development and pedagogy, Language (Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Kannada/ Urdu), Language II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Science are the five topics to be covered in Paper 1. Each topic will be 30 questions.

Each of the three topics – Child development and pedagogy, Language (Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Kannada/ Urdu), and Language II, English will be covered by 30 questions in paper 2. In addition, 60 questions from Math & Science, Social Science, or any other chosen subject will be asked.
