The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission organized the Combined Civil Services Examination for Group-IV vacancies in July 2022. The board completed the written examination successfully across the state on 24 July.
CCSE IV has been organized to select candidates for various group posts. The examination was organized on OMR sheets in offline mode at various exam centres. Now the candidates are waiting for the release of the TNPSC Group 4 Exam Result of the test.
Update on Result Announcement
The results for the Group 4 Examination are likely to be released in March. As per the reports published by various media houses, Group 4 exam witnessed a record appearance in any state-level exam in Tamil Nadu. It is said that more than 18 lakh candidates appeared in the exam.
To avoid loopholes and maintain confidentiality, an integrated 2-part OMR was introduced by the TNPSC and both parts would be subjected to double scanning separately. It is noteworthy that the total number of OMR sheets exceeded 36 lakhs.

TN Group 4 / VAO Merit List
TNPSC Group 4 Merit List will be published with the names of the selected aspirants. The board will also publish the merit list based on the applicants’ respective reservation categories. This information is available to applicants on the board’s official website.
The Tamil Nadu CCSE IV Merit List will comprise each candidate’s name, selection status, registration number, and roll number. The applicants will get this file in Portable Document Format (PDF), which is compatible with any device and may be accessed with ease.
TNPSC Group 4 Cut-Off
Candidates who meet or exceed the TNPSC Group 4 Cut-Off Marks will be chosen by the commission for the next stage. In order to participate in the final examination, students must get this minimum score. The qualifying score is based on a number of parameters, including the difficulty of the test, the number of applicants, the available positions, etc.
The board has administered a written test worth 300 marks. As of now, the board has released the minimum marks required to pass the CCSE IV examination. The applicants have to score at least 90 marks on both papers combined to pass the written test.
