Tamil Nadu District Educational Officer Exam Result from @www.tnpsc.gov.in Checks the Prelims Cutoff Score: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released a job notification for the post of District Educational Officer in December 2022 on its official site. The DEO prelims exam was conducted on 20 April 2023 in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The number of vacant posts is 11 and they will be filled up in School Education Department and in Tamil Nadu School Educational Service.

DEO Exam Analysis
- The DEO prelims exam was conducted in 15 different cities of Tamil Nadu State.
- The paper consisted of all objective types of questions.
- A total of 200 questions were divided into two different parts i.e 175 questions about General knowledge and 25 questions related to Aptitude & Mental ability.
- The duration of the paper was 3 hours.
- The exam carried a total of 300 marks.
- The prelims test was only for qualifying in nature. No marks will be counted in the final merit list.
TNPSC DEO Cut-off Score
The cut-off score depends on the exam difficulty level, the number of vacancies and appeared candidates in the exam. The prelims exam level was easy to moderate thus the cut-off score go high as compared to the previous year’s cut-off score list. The expected cutoff marks have been discussed below:

The prelims exam will be declared soon by the selection board. After that, selected aspirants will be invited for the main examination and for further selection phases. The number of candidates who will appear in the main examination will be 10 times the number of total vacancies. Applicants follow the below-given lines to check their results easily:
