The exam will be conducted in two different shifts. The first shift will be started from 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the second shift will be commenced from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM.
Assistant Jailor Paper Pattern
- OMR sheet-based exam will be conducted.
- The Jailor exam will consist of two papers and paper 2 have further divided into two parts.
- Both two papers will carry 600 marks.
- Each paper duration will be 3 hours.

TNPSC Selection Process
The selection process will be based on the total marks of the written exam and the interview score. The interview will carry 20 marks. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview test and at this stage document verification can also be done by the selection committee. The final merit list will be based on both stages’ scores i.e written exam and interview.
