Staff Selection Commission will hold a Computer-Based test for Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar posts in April. Although a fixed date for this exam has not been announced yet. The candidates will be informed about the exam date through the official website of SSC.
As and when the exam date is announced, the commission will release the admit cards for the examination. The eligible candidates will be able to download their respective admit cards from the official website. Candidates need to fill up the application registration number and date of birth to access the exam call letters.

About SSC MTS / Havaldar Recruitment
Staff Selection Commission invited online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) in various departments and Havaldar posts in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). The applications were accepted from 18 January to 17 February 2023 through the official website of SSC. This recruitment drive has 10880 vacancies for MTS posts, while 529 Havaldar vacancies.
SSC MTS / Havaldar Examination Scheme
The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar). The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi, English and in 13 regional languages. Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II and both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.

- Computer-Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
- There will be no negative marking in Session-I.
- In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
- Each question will be of three marks.
- The duration of the examination will be 45 minutes for each session.

SSC Admit Card Details – Exam Instructions
The commission will release SSC Admit Card for MTS and Havaldar posts online only. The admit card will have important details including the exam name, exam timings, venue of examination, candidate’s name, category etc. Also, the admit card print will have the necessary examination instructions printed on it.
Candidates must check that the details printed on the SSC MTS Admit Card are correct. If any error is found, candidates must contact the examination authority for necessary rectification. At the time of examination, candidates are required to carry a valid photo identity proof along with the admit card print.
