Staff Selection Commission has released notification Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2022. A bumper bharti notification is published for 24359 vacancies for male and female candidates in the respective defence forces.

Registration for these posts started on 27 October and candidates will be able to fill in the application form till 30 November 2022. Candidates are referred to check the detailed notification for eligibility details. Classification of vacancies for various forces is as follows:

SSC will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau.

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th Class) Examination from a recognized education Board. The result of the requisite educational qualification must have been declared
by the Board/ Institute by the specified application date.

Applicant’s age must be18-23 years as of 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in the normal course. However, after a relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.
