Staff Nurse Exam Overview
The common recruitment test was conducted in English as well as in the Hindi language. 80% of questions were related to the Theory of Nursing knowledge. 20% of questions were related to the Practical application of Nursing work (of these 10% were related to COVID-related work). There was no negative marking. The exam’s merit list will be released after the calculation of the candidates’ marks with the normalization method.
Minimum Qualifying Marks- For the general category and Economic Weaker Sections minimum passing marks are 40% and for SC, ST & OBC minimum passing marks are 35%.
Answer Key & Merit List
The provisional SGPGIMS Staff Nurse Answer Key will be released within 1 or 2 days. The candidates can challenge it in case they feel like an answer is wrong. The objection should be raised within the given time period. After it, a final answer key will be released on the basis of which, the exam marks will be calculated.
The merit list will be released category-wise. While preparing the selection list for the General category, all applicants (including those from the reserved categories) will be taken into consideration, but while preparing the selection list for a reserved category, only applicants of that category will be taken into consideration.
