The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant will organize a written examination for Apprenticeship in various trades in September 2022. The tentative date for the computer-based test is 04 September 2022. For this exam, the authority will release RINL Trade Apprentice Admit Card in the last week of August.
Candidates who have applied for RINL VSP Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM), Electrician, Carpenter, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanic Diesel, Computer Operator, and Programming Assistant posts can download their admit card by filling up the application number and date of birth.
The recruitment for Apprenticeships in various trades was announced in August 2022 where candidates were able to submit the application form from 02 to 18 August 2022. In this recruitment drive, a total of 319 vacant slots are to be filled.

A huge number of candidates take admission in various trade courses under the VSP Apprenticeship program. These candidates are provided one year course with paying a certain remuneration. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on basis of their performance in the written exam.
RINL VSP Trade Apprenticeship Paper Pattern & Exam Scheme
A computer-based test would be part of the selection process. The test will last two hours and will include both technical and aptitude sections. The test will consist of objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs) with four possible answers and one right answer. The candidate must select the appropriate choice.
The test will consist of 150 questions and award a total of 150 points. Each right response is worth one mark. The duration of this test will be 120 minutes.

RINL Apprenticeship Admit Card Details
The RINL Admit Card will comprise essential details including the candidate’s name, category, date of birth, photograph, exam centre name and timings. Candidates must check the printed details thoroughly. In case of any discrepancy, contact the exam authority before the examination date.
In addition, bring a valid photo identity proof along with the call letter print while appearing for the examination. It may be among Aadhar Card/E-aadhar card, Pan Card, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, Indian Passport, or any ID card issued by the state or centre government.
