The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board has concluded the process of accepting online applications for the vacant positions of Village Development Organizer (VDO) and Gram Sevak. Candidates are currently waiting for the board to publish their Punjab VDO Admit Card 2023 before continuing their preparations.
SSSB Punjab has postponed the exam scheduled for 8 January. Examination date will be announced afresh.
This examination is going to be conducted by the board in order to recruit 792 vacancies for the position of VDO/Gram Sevak in the state Rural and Panchayat Department. The results of the written test will serve as the primary criterion for choosing successful candidates. On June 14, 2022, the board of directors finished the application procedure that was conducted online.
In accordance with the notification regarding the examination that was provided by the board, the SSSB Punjab VDO Admit Card 2023 will be made available on the board’s official website at least two weeks prior to the exam date. The document can be downloaded by using the information i.e. application number and date of birth.

On basis of the eligibility mentioned in the submitted application form, the candidates will be called for the first phase written test. Candidates will be intimated through the official website about the examination schedule. As we already know, the final selection will be done on basis of document verification cum Interview.
Punjab VDO Paper Pattern and Exam Scheme
- The exam will be held online having Objective Type questions.
- The total Questions will be 100 for a total of 100 marks.
- The time Duration for solving the paper is 02 Hours.
- A negative Marking of 0.25 marks per incorrect answer will be applicable.
- Minimum Passing Marks are 40% only.

Candidates can use the PSSSB VDO Exam Pattern for a better understanding of the exam’s format, the number of parts, and weightage of marks, and other things. As of now, the board has not released PSSSB Village Development Organizer Exam Pattern. We will provide the examination pattern for this test here as and when the information is released officially.
Punjab VDO / Gram Sevak Admit Card Details
Before taking the written exam, candidates must review the rules and regulations set by the examination board to conduct the examination smoothly. Proper documentation including admit card print and identity proof is required while appearing for the exam. Candidates who do not have the required documentation will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
PSSSB Gram Sevak Admit Card is the most important document. The board officials will not allow a candidate to sit for the test if the candidate’s personal information on the candidate’s admit card is not the same as on the ID proof and attendance sheet.
