Odisha Staff Selection Commission will announce the Combined Graduate Level Examination result on its official portal. The Odisha CGL exam was completed on 14 May 2023 in various districts across the state. In the prelims exam, many applicants participated and are now eager to know about the announcement date of the result. The OSSC CGL Result will be published on the organisation’s www.ossc.gov.in site.

The notification for the CGL exam was published in November 2022. The online application form was submitted from 11 November to 10 December 2022. The number of vacancies mentioned in the notification is 943. Group B & Group C included posts such as Junior Assistant, Food Supply Inspector, Assistant Officer, Auditor, Junior Clerk, and other posts.

Odisha CGL Exam Analysis

The multiple-choice type questions were presented in the exam. The exam contained two papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 carried two subjects, Mathematics & Reasoning. In paper 2, Odia, English, General knowledge & Computer Awareness related question was presented in the exam. The exam was organised for a total of 150 marks.

The authority was given 90 minutes for paper 1 and 60 minutes for paper 2. There was a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer and 1 mark for 1 correct answer.

OSSC CGL Cut-off Score

The cut-off score is the minimum mark required to pass the prelims exam. The minimum qualifying marks in computer skills and Mathematics fixed by the OSSC is 50% of total marks. The expected cut-off marks have been discussed below:

How to check the OSSC CGL Result of Group B & Group C posts 2023?

The selection commission of the Odisha state will publish the selected candidate’s list on its website. Apart from this, the main exam will be scheduled after the announcement of the preliminary paper result. To check the result, applicants must follow the below-given steps:

  1. Open the OSSC portal which is www.ossc.gov.in
  2. Then go to the Candidates corner section which is found on the homepage of the site.
  3. Click on the results tab.
  4. All the latest results will be shown in the list.
  5. Then search for the CGL Result link & click on it.
  6. The result will be downloaded and open it.
  7. Take a printout of this pdf document for further use.
