Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited released the notification for various trainee posts in January 2023. A total of 333 vacant posts will be filled up in the Electricity Department of Odisha named Junior Maintenance Trainee, Office Asst Gr-III Trainee, Jr Maintenance & Operator Trainee and Stenographer Gr-III Trainee posts. The written exam was conducted on 05 & 06 May 2023 by the OPTCL.

The exam was held at Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Behrampur, Balasore, and Dhenkanal cities of Odisha.
OPTCL JMOT Exam Overview
- The exam was conducted in online mode i.e. Computer based test.
- All multiple-choice questions were given in the test for 200 marks.
- Each question carried one mark & 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The exam duration was 3 hours.
Trainee Exam Answer Key & Objection Submission
The organisation will publish the answer key in two phases, in the first phase provisional answer key and in the second phase final answer key will be released. The tentative answer key pdf will be published two to three days after the exam. After the publication of the key, the examinee matches their answers and if applicants have any doubt regarding any answer, they can raise objections against the specific answer.
Candidates need to fill out the objection form with the attachment of valid proof of the wrong answer. After scrutinizing the objection forms, the authority will release the final answer key. It is noted that the applicants do not raise objections against the final answer key.
