Odisha Prisons Recruitment Board, Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Service has the schedule for various stages of the selection process for Jail Warder posts once the registration process is over. In Stage 1, a Computer Based Recruitment Examination will be conducted from 22 to 26 December. Thereafter in Stage 2, physical tests will be organized.

OPRB is recruiting Jail Warders in a total of five prison Circles in Odisha including Choudwar Circle, Berhampur Circle, Sambalpur Circle, Baripada Circle and Koraput Circle. A total of 403 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive.

The department will be conducting a Computer-based test at various examination centres across the circles. Venues will be intimated to the candidates through admit cards. OPRB Jail Warder Examination Scheme & Paper Pattern

• A computer-based test will be conducted.
• MCQs will be asked on various subjects.
• The number of questions will be 100.
• Each question will be of one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
• No marks will be awarded or deducted if a question is left unattempted.
• The duration of the test will be two hours.

Odisha Jail Warder Admit Card Details – Instructions

OPRB Jail Warder Admit Cards will be released in online mode only. Candidates will be able to access the call letter by entering the application registration number and date of birth. Therefore, aspirants should keep their application forms print handy.

The admit cards will have essential details including the candidate’s name, date of birth, category, post and department name, allotted exam roll number and examination centre name and date and time of exam. Candidates must check all the details properly. If an error is found, contact the examination authority for necessary rectification.

Aspirants are required to produce a valid photo identity proof and Odisha Jail Warder Admit Card print to the staff at examination centre. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. A valid photo ID proof for the purpose may be among Aadhar Card, Driving License, Pan Card, Voter’s ID Card etc.
