Odisha Prisons Recruitment Board, Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Service is recruiting Jail Warders in a total of five prison Circles of Odisha including Choudwar Circle, Berhampur Circle, Sambalpur Circle, Baripada Circle and Koraput Circle. Interested eligible candidates can apply for the concerned Circle on opbrecruitment.in where he/she has registered his/her name in any employment exchange within the jurisdiction of the Circle where recruitment is going to be conducted.

Eligible candidates can apply from 14 October 2022. The last date for online application submission is 13 November 2022. OPRB will be filling up a total of 403 vacancies through this recruitment drive. Circle-wise classification of vacancies is as follows:

• Baripada – 65 Posts
• Behrampur – 102 Posts
• Sambalpur – 82 Posts
• Koraput – 60 Posts
• Cuttack – 94 Posts

Essential Eligibility Details

The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination Certificate conducted by the Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubneshwar, or any other equivalent exam conducted by any other recognized education board o council from Odisha.

Candidates’ age should be Minimum of 18 years and a Maximum of 25 years on 1 January 2022. Age relaxation for SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH candidates will be applicable as per the state government rules.
