Eligibility Criteria

The selection board has prescribed the minimum educational qualification and age limit for the posts of Assistant Section Officer and Junior Stenographer in Odisha High Court. The details of educational qualification and age limit are as follows:

Educational Qualifications
  • Assistant Section Officer – A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Applicants must have adequate knowledge of Computer Applications.
  • Junior Stenographer – A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. Also, an applicant should have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typewriting along with adequate knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age Limit

A candidate must be above 21 years of age and below 32 years of age as of 01 August 2023 i.e. Applicant must have been born before 01 August 2002 and on or after 02 August 1991.

Application Fee Details

An applicant is required to pay an application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) in online mode by using Credit Card / Debit Card or Internet Banking. Applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and Persons with disabilities are exempted from paying the application fee.
