State Council for Educational Research & Training, Odisha is going to conduct the exam for those applicants who are seeking admission to a two-year D.El.Ed. Course in the upcoming days. The registration was done from 05 April to 30 April 2023. Through this exam, students can get admission in 30 DIETs, 04 BIETs, 31 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (ETEIs), 02 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions and 01 Non-Government Aided Secondary Training School managed by a Minority Community of the State.
The Odisha D.El.Ed Admit Card 2023 has been released on the webpage of the council. Those candidates who successfully submitted their application forms will be downloaded the exam letter from scert.samsodisha.gov.in website. The entrance exam will be conducted on 30 May 2023.

The entrance exam will be divided into two different sections and will be conducted in Odia, Urdu, Telugu and Santali languages.
D.El.Ed Exam Pattern
The test will be conducted in online mode. The whole test will be contained 90 questions, 30 questions will be given in section 1 and 60 questions in section 2. The organisation will be given 90 minutes to complete the paper. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score.

Admission Process
The selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in the CBT exam. The qualifying students will be invited for the online placement or counselling process which will be conducted at the institution level. The original certificates and mark sheets of the selected aspirants will be verified by the organisation. After completion of the verification, the seat will be allotted based on the rank achieved by the examinees.
