OAVS Teachers / Principal Eligibility Criteria

Principal

• Applicants should possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• Also, applicants should have completed B.Ed from an institute recognized by NCTE and affiliated with a recognized University.

For all PGTs

• Two years integrated Post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any subject.
• Applicants should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated with a recognized university.

For all TGTs

• Four years integrated Degree course in the concerned subject from any institution recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Science in the concerned subjects with 50% in aggregate from an institution recognized by NCTE.
• Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.
• Desirable knowledge of Computer Applications.

The applicant’s age will be calculated as of 01 January 2023 as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the eligible candidates as per the government rules and regulations.

OAVS Teachers / Principal Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in the various phases of the selection process as given below:

• Written Test (CBT) – A Computer-based test will be conducted for all the applicants whose application forms and eligibility are found valid.
• Interview and Performance Test – Candidates qualified in the computer-based test will be called for the second round of the selection process which is the Personal Interview and Performance Test.
