Lakhs of candidates every year apply for the OAVS Principal, TGT, PGT and Art Teacher posts. For the year 2023, the organization released a notification for the recruitment of these posts in February. For a total of 1010 vacancies, the organization accepted online applications from 07 March to 06 April 2023.
After completing the verification process of the received application forms, the authority released admit cards to the shortlisted candidates. Such candidates have been invited for the written examination as per the schedule. OAVS Principal / Teachers Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates for Principal, TGT, PGT and ART Teachers posts will be finalized on the basis of their performance in various phases of the selection process. On the basis of the eligibility filled in the application forms, candidates will be called for the first phase test i.e. written examination. Thereafter, further phases of the selection process will be conducted. The stages of the selection process are as follows:
Computer-based Examination – First, the candidates will be called for the written test. The test will be conducted online i.e. on a Computer. The allotment of roll numbers and exam centre will be intimated to the candidates through OAVS Admit Card.
Interview & Performance Test – The candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for a screening test and Interview. The candidates will also be asked for document verification.
OAVS Principal, TGT, PGT Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
For OAVS Principal posts, an online test will be conducted. The test comprises four parts i.e. Part-I, II, III and IV. All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the written test will be 200 minutes. The scheme of the examination will be as follows:

OAVS Admit Cards Details & Information
Usually, the examination authority release call letters to the eligible candidates at least two weeks before the examination date. On an admit card essential information such as the candidate’s name, photograph, exam name and examination authority name, examination centre details and exam timings etc will be printed. Candidates must check the printed details thoroughly. If there is an error, contact the examination authority office for necessary rectification.
It is also mandatory for the aspirants to bring a photo identity proof along with the OAVS Admit Card. Candidates without the required documents will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. A valid photo identity proof may be among Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, Indian Passport, Bank Passbook etc.
