NTA has conducted the Admission Test for Medical Courses named NEET on 07 May across the country. In the next stage, NTA will release the result of the NEET exam in the upcoming days along with the marks obtained by the students and their ranks as well.
The National Testing Agency published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test notification in March 2023. The NEET exam is conducted national level once a year for those aspirants who are willing to get admission in undergraduate courses named MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS Courses. Current year, the exam was conducted on 07 May 2023 at 475 examination centres.
Moreover, about 15 lakh students appeared in the offline NEET exam and are now, waiting for the declaration of the result. The NEET Result 2023 will be announced in the upcoming days. Candidates can check their results on the testing agency’s website. Candidates who qualify for the NEET can get admission to Medical colleges or Universities according to their rank.

After the declaration of the result, the selected students will be invited to the counselling process. The counselling process will be conducted under the control of State Governments/ UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions. The NEET result data may also be used for admission in B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria and guidelines.
NEET Exam Overview
The pen-paper-based exam was organised by the NTA in a single shift which started at 2:00 PM and was completed at 5:20 PM. The paper was categorised into four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each section was further divided into two subsections (Section A & Section B). Section A consisted of 35 questions and Section B carried 15 questions.
The paper was conducted for a total of 720 marks. Each correct question was given 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be given for any unanswered questions. As per the National Education Policy, the NEET (UG) exam was conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The cut-off varies every year and it depends on the number of candidates who were taken part in the exam and the level of the paper. The cut-off score for general categories may go higher than for other categories. The categories wise cut-off scores have been mentioned below:

- On the homepage in the public notice section, search for the NEET Result.
- Then click on the result link.
- The result pdf will be downloaded to your device.
