MP Excise Constable Exam was recently conducted by Employee Selection Board Madhya Pradesh. The exam was conducted on 20 February 2023 in various cities.

The MPPEB Excise Constable exam Result is uploaded on the official website only and candidates can check it as it is declared. It is an excellent piece of news for the candidates as the number of vacancies approximately has gone up by 260. Earlier they were 200 but now they have been increased to 462.

The registration for recruitment started on 10 December 2022 and ended on 24 December 2022. It is nerve-wracking for candidates to wait for the result to be declared as it has already been over 2 weeks and there is no official notification about the dates.

Excise Constable Exam Overview & Analysis

The exam was conducted on 20 February 2023 in two shifts. The morning shift started at 10 A.M. and ended at 12 P.M. The afternoon shift started at 3 P.M. and ended at 5 P.M. The questions were objective type. It was a hundred-mark paper. Each question carries 1 mark. The exam was divided into three following sections.

General Knowledge and reasoning 40
Intellectual ability and mental aptitude 30
Science & Simple Arithmetic 30

There is a negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer. The candidates who will clear the written exam will be called for the next stage i.e. Physical Test. The exam difficulty was average.

Exam Cut-off and Merit List

The cut-off is never the same each year as it varies due to various factors such as vacancy, number of candidates who gave the exam, highest score, lowest score, and exam difficulty. The merit list will be based on the final answer key released after quelling all the objections raised by the examinees. The minimum qualifying mark for the unreserved category is 60% whereas for the reserved category 10& concession was given (50%). But as our team analyzed the previous 7 years cut-off. It could be said that the result cut-off will fall near the range mentioned below.
