Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has finished conducting the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MPTET) varg-1 examination 2023 for the post of High School Teacher. The exam was conducted in CBT mode from 1 March 2023 to 11 March 2023.

The applications were accepted from 12 January 2023 to 27 January 2023. The exam was conducted in 17 cities across the state.

The result can be declared in the month of April 2023 though no official notification has come out yet. The candidates who clear it will get a certificate and will be eligible to apply when the state govt releases a vacancy notification for high school teachers. A lot of private schools also hire teachers based on their TET scores.

Exam Overview

The answer key was released and candidates could challenge it till 16 March 2023. It had two parts Part- A examination was compulsory for all the students but Part- B exam was for the subject the candidate had done their post-graduation in. The candidates had 16 subjects to choose from.

The exam had a total of 150 questions and each question carried 1 mark. The time duration to complete part- A as well as part- B is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam was conducted from 9 A.M.

The candidates who score more than or equal to the passing marks will get their scorecard and certificate. Candidates can check the minimum qualifying marks from the table given below.

1. Open the official website of MPTET using the link below.
2. Click on the result tab.
3. Click the link of MPTET Varg-1 2023 for High School Teachers.
4. Login with your details like password and user id.
5. Recheck your details and submit them
6. Then download your result and check it.
