State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the notification for Common Entrance Test for the year 2023. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to 4-year Undergraduate Degree courses in the field of Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy and Agriculture. The selected candidates will be offered admission into various government & private institutions across the Maharashtra state.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a state-level entrance test used to select applicants for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year and qualified candidates are offered admission to the First Year of Four Year Full Time Degree Courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy AND First Year of Six Year Full Time Degree Course in Pharm D.

MHT CET 2023 exam will be conducted in two groups:

• PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics)
• PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)

MH CET Eligibility Details

• Candidate must have passed 12th Class/ HSC or its equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Applicant must be Indian National to be eligible for exam.
• The candidate must obtain a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
• There is no minimum or maximum age limit for MHT CET Examination.

Application Registration Fee

The applicants are required to pay a prescribed application fee for MHT CET Application Form. The fee payment can be done online using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Internet Banking. Category-wise application fee for MHT CET is as follows:

• General/ J&K Migrants/ Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) category candidates – ₹800/-
• SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ SBC/ NT/ EWS – ₹600/-
