These days, the Madras High Court is commencing the hiring process for the positions of Examiner, Reader, Senior Bailiff, Junior Bailiff, and Xerox Operator. Applications are invited for a total of 1,412 open positions across the state’s districts. Up to August 22, 2022, the online application link was available.

The court officials would schedule several phases of the selection process after analysing the received application forms. The board will conduct an OMR-based written exam to make the final candidate selection. Although the exam’s timetable has not yet been made public, it is anticipated to take place in October 2022.

To ensure that only authorized candidates get entry into the examination centre, the selection committee will issue admit cards to the eligible candidates. The official link for this will be made available on the website about two weeks in advance of the exam date.  Candidates will be able to download their MHC admit cards by filling in the required information.

Update on Exam Schedule

Madras High Court will conduct a written exam for Reader, Bailiff, Examiner etc on 16 October. Examination for the driver will be conducted on 15 October. The hall tickets link is likely to be added soon

The MHC Admit Card will be released in online mode only. There is no other medium to get the hall ticket. Candidates need to download and print it from the official portal for further reference.

On the admit card print, there will be personal and departmental information including the candidate’s name, category, photograph, exam and post name, allotted roll number, examination date and timings, and exam centre name. Candidates need to check these details thoroughly.

In addition to the Madras High Court Admit Card print candidates need to bring a valid photo identity proof among Aadhar Card/E-Aadhar card, Pan Card, driving license, Voters ID card etc. Candidates without these documents shall not be allowed to sit in the exam.
