Maharashtra B.Ed CET and B.Ed ELCT Examinations 2023 are going to be conducted from 23 April 2023 to 25 April 2023 by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The students started filling out their applications on 9 March 2023. The last date for the students to submit their applications was extended to 23 March 2023.
The students need to download their Maharashtra B.Ed Hall Ticket from the official portal, the admit card won’t be sent to a student via post or any other method. The Admit Card release date has not been announced but it is likely that admit card will be released a week before the examination.
Those who pass the exam will have the opportunity to enrol in a 2-year B.Ed. programme in a college affiliated with one of Maharashtra’s State Universities for the academic year 2023–2025. The students will get admission into a two-year course for the academic year 2023- 2025.

Candidates must bring their Maharashtra B.Ed Admit Card to the examination centre as well as their original photo identity card, whose information must match their admit card. Candidates are also supposed to bring a ball pen to the examination centre as this is an OMR exam.
Admission Process
The candidates will first have to give the written examination and based on the marks obtained by them, a list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the postal. Only those candidates who pass the MAH B. Ed CET 2023 written test will be eligible for MAH B. Ed CET 2023 counselling sessions.
However, candidates must register for counselling on the official website by themselves; if this is not done within the given time period, the candidate’s seat may be cancelled. The students will get a seat in the college based on their rank and the seats allotted to the course they have chosen.
Exam Scheme & Pattern
- The test comprises an objective-type MCQ paper Pattern.
- There is no negative marking for this test.
- Each question is of 1 mark.
- The test duration is 90 minutes.
- The exam will be conducted in English and in Marathi.

Candidates who seek admission to an English medium college will have to give the following exam as well. The test duration is of 60 minutes. Candidates will have to opt for ELCT in the Application form.
