BCCI will organise the 16th edition of the Famous Cricket League named Indian Premier League (IPL T20). IPL is a t20 Cricket league played every year at the start of the summer. Players from all across the globe participate in the Cash-rich League. It is said multiple times that IPL is one of the most famous and Profit Making leagues in the world of sports.

The first edition of IPL was played in 2008. Since then, IPL has touched the sky with its fame in the sporting world. World Class players from all cricket-playing nations participate in the league and contribute their part to its success. In recent years, IPL has become the selection criteria for International teams not fully, partially though.

International Cricket Council (ICC) has given a separate window for the IPL in its calendar so that players from all nations can participate fully.

Name of Teams in Tata IPL t20 2023

When IPL T20 started in 2008, the first edition had 8 teams. In the 4th edition in 2011, two new teams named Kochi Tuskers and Pune Warriors were added giving more chances to more domestic players. But with the number of teams increasing, the tournament took extended time for the conclusion and made it a bit boring. In the very next edition the Kochi Tuskers were pulled out and so were the Pune Warriors later on.

Again in the 15th edition of the tournament in 2022, Two new teams named Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans were added and both of the teams were made to play in the finals. Gujarat Titans won the previous edition of the IPL T20 in 2022.
