LBS Centre of Science & Technology completed the registration of online applications for the State Eligibility Test in Kerala on 25 April 2023. The organization will further conduct an eligibility test on 27 July 2023.
The candidates of the Kerala State Eligibility Test can download the hall tickets from the official website of LBS by simply logging in using the application registration number and date of birth. A direct link to access Kerala SET Hall Tickets will be activated at least two weeks before the examination date.
The test is conducted to ensure the standards of teaching in Higher Secondary Courses. The Government have decided to conduct the State Eligibility Test for the candidates to be selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. A pass in the State Eligibility Test (SET) is stipulated as a mandatory requirement for appointment as Higher Secondary School Teacher in the State as per the Special Rules in force.

The organization released notification for the Kerala State Eligibility Test-2023 on 28 March 2023. The registration process started on 30 March and candidates were able to submit the online application form till 25 April 2023. The candidates whose eligibility is found valid will be called for the entrance test. The schedule for this test will be released on the website soon.
Kerala SET Examination Scheme and Paper Pattern
There shall be two papers for the SET- JULY- 2023. The questions of both papers shall be objective in nature and based on a single response, ie., for each question four suggested responses (A, B, C, D) will be given of which, only one will be the most appropriate answer and the candidates will have to select and mark their response in the appropriate space provided in the OMR Answer Sheets.
For each correct response, the candidates will be awarded 1 mark in both the Papers except for Mathematics and Statistics for which each correct response will be awarded 1.5 marks. Marking more than one response against a question shall be deemed as an incorrect answer. No marks shall be deducted for incorrect answers.
The scheme of the examination will be as follows:
Paper I is common for all candidates. It consists of two parts, Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching. There shall be 120 questions for Paper I with 60 questions each for Part A and Part B. Each question shall carry one mark.
Paper II shall be a test based on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the Post Graduate (PG) Level. There shall be 120 questions carrying one mark each for the subjects under Paper II except for Mathematics and Statistics. For Mathematics and Statistics, there shall be only 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each.
Kerala SET Admit Card Details
The admit card for the SET will be prepared for only those candidates who have successfully registered The District opted for the test. The subject for the test in the admit card will be based on the data furnished by the candidate in their online application. The Kerala SET Admit Card will be available on the website of the LBS Centre i.e. www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in from the date which will be announced later on the website.
