Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) will conduct the written exam for Junior Lab Assistant (Medical studies) Exam on 21 January 2023. The exam will be conducted from 1.30 Pm to 3.30 PM at various examination Centres in the state.

More than 1.5 Lakh candidates will participate in the JLA exam in single phases. The examination will be conducted at all major district headquarters of the state. The board has mentioned in the notification that the exam will be conducted in offline mode as an OMR Based Exam.

Junior Lab Assistant Hall Tickets for the Preliminary Exam will be uploaded to the One Time Registration Login of KPSC which is known as Thulasi. The candidates who submitted their confirmation for this exam in august will be allowed to download and print the Thulasi Hall Tickets 2023.

As per the notification released by the Kerala PSC a few days ago, the board received exam confirmation from 159000 candidates. Hall Tickets will be released to only these candidates who could submit their confirmation.

Talking about the exam, the examination will be conducted at 100s of examination centres prepared by the Commission. The candidates will need to download and take a printout of the hall ticket as the commission will not send physical copies to the candidates’ addresses.

Exam Overview

  • An OMR-based examination will be taken for the Kerala JLA Exam.
  • The number of Questions will be 100.
  • Medium of the exam: Questions will be asked in the English Language except for English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada language questions will be printed both in English and in the Official Language Malayalam)
  • The duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam will be for a total of 100 marks.
