KARTET is conducted to recruit candidates for teaching positions in government schools in Karnataka state. It is compulsory to meet the educational eligibility criteria before filling out the KARTET Application Form. Candidates can check paper 1 and paper 2 KARTET eligibility here.
Paper I: PUC / Class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Paper-II: Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
The lower age limit for the applicants is 18 years, and the upper age limit will be around 35 to 40 years (based on the relaxation given to the reserved category candidates).
