Karnataka School Education Board organized the written test for Teacher’s Eligibility Test on 6 November 2022. The test for both levels i.e. Primary and Upper Primary held in different shifts on the same day. Further, the education board declared the KAR TET Result on 14 december
The test is organised to check the eligibility of candidates to become teacher in the government schools of Karnataka. The qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8) Teachers recruitment.

Every year, the Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by the state education board. Lakhs of candidates who are willing to do teaching jobs in the state take the test. For the year 2022, the exam is over and results can be checked on the official website by using the registration number and date of birth.
KARTET Qualifying Marks – Category-wise Passing Marks
Karnataka School Education Board has fixed the qualifying marks to get qualified in the Teachers Eligibility Test Level 1 and Level 2. Candidates are required to score at least a minimum passing mark to be eligible for Teacher recruitment.
- In KAR TET Paper 1 & Paper 2, candidates belonging to General Categories need to secure 60% marks to get qualified.
- The candidates who belong to the Reserved Categories of Karnataka State need to secure 55% marks to be eligible.
KARTET Certificate – Download Link and Validity
The qualified candidates will be issued an Electronic Marks Statement. In this, the details including the Candidate’s name, roll number, category, passing year, marks and result date will be printed. The candidates can download the Marks Sheet from the official website by entering the registration number and date of birth in the relevant link.
A KAR TET Passing Certificate is valid for a lifetime. However, candidates can appear in the test for improving his/her marks. The board will not send any physical certificate of Karnataka TET.
