The Haryana Civil Services prelims exam was organised by the Haryana Public Service Commission on 21 May 2023 in various cities across the state. A massive number of applicants appeared in the written exam. Applicants are now waiting for the result. The commission will release the HPSC HCS Results in the forthcoming days. It is expected that the HCS Results will be published in the month of June or July. Candidates can check their results on the administrative portal of the commission.
We already know that the HPSC published a job advertisement in February 2023. Eligible candidates submitted their job application within the given time period which was from 16 February to 12 March 2023. In this notification, a total of 95 vacant posts in Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) & other Allied Services.

The recruiting agency HPSC will publish the prelims exam result first and after that, only the selected candidate will take part in the mains examination.
HCS Exam Overview
The prelims exam contained two papers i.e. Paper 1 of General Studies & Paper 2 of Civil Service Aptitude Test. The prelims exam was conducted for 200 Marks. In the exam, all objection-type questions were given. A bilingual language (English & Hindi)exam was organised by the commission. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score.
HPSC HCS Cut-off Marks
As per the official notification, the preliminary exam score will not be counted in the final merit list. The cut-off score depends on the number of vacancies available, the number of candidates who appeared in the written exam and the exam level. How to check HPSC HCS Exam Result 2023?
From the total number of candidates who appeared in the written test, the twelve-time more than the total number of vacancies. The result will be published only on the official site of the recruiting authority. To check their results applicants must follow the below given steps:
- In the commencing step, visit the commission site which is hpsc.gov.in
- Go to the Result tab & click on it.
- A list will be open in front of you, then search for the HCS Result.
- Click on the result link and a pdf will be downloaded.
- Open it and look for your roll number.
