Haryana Public Service Commission is going to fill up 95 Group A vacancies in different cadres and departments through this recruitment drive. The recruitment under Advt No. 11/2023 has been released on the official website for Civil Services Recruitment in February 2023. Online application registration started on 09 February and candidates were able to register online till 16 February 2023.
Thousands of candidates appeared in the first phase Preliminary Examination on the scheduled date i.e. 21 May 2023. HPSC HCS Exam Analysis – Prelims Exam Overview
The Civil Services Examination is conducted by the commission for the selection of Group ‘A’ level candidates in various departments of the state. The commission selects only the most qualified candidates for these posts. For this, the standard of examination is also kept high.
In the first phase, a preliminary examination was conducted which consists of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Objective-type questions were asked in both papers. Each paper was of 100 marks. The candidate has to secure 33% marks in each paper to pass.
The qualified candidates will be called for the next phase of the examination i.e. Mains Exam. This test will be for 600 marks. The schedule for this examination will be released on the official website accordingly.
