Haryana Public Service Commission is all set to conduct Haryana Civil Services (Executive and Allied) preliminary exam in the month of May. HCS released a notification for 95 vacancies for various posts such as –
- Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch),
- Deputy Superintendent of Police
- Excise & Taxation Officer
- District Food & Supplies Controller
- ‘A‘ Class Tehsildar
- Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies
- Assistant Excise & Taxation Officer
- Block Development &Panchayat Office
The recruitment application acceptance started on 9 February 2023 and will end on 12 March 2023. The HPSC HCS Admit Card will be released on its official website at least 7 to 10 days prior to the examination.

HPSC HCS Selection process
For candidates to get selected for this post is not a piece of cake as there are three levels required for them to clear it. If the candidate is not able to clear even one, he/she will be rejected. The three levels are below.
Preliminary exams- This exam is the first step to shortlisting candidates on the basis of the marks they have scored in it. The scores will not be counted towards the final selection.
Mains exams- Mains written exam comprises four papers. The medium of the exam is Hindi & English.
Viva- Voice/ Personality test – No candidate will be selected for it until and unless they score 45% in the written exams. This test carries a weightage of 75 marks.
HPSC HCS Exam Pattern
a) Preliminary exam.
- Both papers are Objective type.
- For each wrong answer, -1/4 mark will be deducted.
- The medium exam is Hindi & English.
- To qualify paper- II you need a minimum of 33%.
- The exam is for 200 marks.

b) Mains exam-
- The exam is for a total of 600 marks.
- The candidates can choose one optional subject out of 29 given subjects.
- To go to the next stage candidates at least need 45% and a minimum of 33% in Hindi & English.

- Click on it and fill in the user id and password.

- Take a printout of it to carry to the exam hall.
