Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has published the notification regarding the Teacher Eligibility Test on their official page. The TET conducts every year by the education board of HP to check the eligibility of those candidates who are willing to join as a Teacher in Government Schools. The application form starts from 09 May 2023 and the online submission application form will be closed on 28 May 2023.

The TET will be conducted for different teaching categories such as TGT(Arts), TGT(NM), TGT(Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, Punjabi and Urdu. Those aspirants who intend to appear in more than one category will have to submit different application forms and application fees for each category.
HP TET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks along with one year’s B.Ed from any recognized university in their respective discipline.
For the HP Teacher Eligibility test, there is no upper age limit. The age criteria will be considered by the recruiting authority at the time of appointment as per the R & P rules.
Application fee for TET
The application fee is essential to submit at the time of submission of the application form. The examination fee can be paid by using various online payment methods. The fee has been mentioned below according to the different categories:

- SC/ST/OBC/PH categories: ₹500/-

The Board of Education said that only online application forms will be accepted and other modes of application will be rejected by authority. Candidates submit their details carefully without any errors or mistakes in the online form. Applicants follow the below-given step to apply for the TET exam:

- Then click on the HP TET Apply Online, and fill out the application form with all the required details.
