Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test was conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) on 21 May 2023 from 10 AM to 1:00 PM. Every year thousands of students appeared in the PAT exam. The board conducts this exam for those candidates who wish to get admission into Diploma courses of Polytechnic for the academic year of 2023-24.
The board has decided that the HP PAT Result will be announced on 29 May 2023. Applicants can check their results online on the Shiksha board website. The qualified candidates will be invited for the counselling process after the declaration of the Polytechnic Admission test result.

Through this exam, admissions to 16 Government, 1 MSME Technology Centre & 8 Private polytechnic institutes/colleges will be provided. The counselling process will be conducted in online mode.
Polytechnic Admission Test Overview
- An offline exam was conducted by the board on the OMR sheet.
- The exam carried a total of 600 marks.
- In the paper the question related to four subjects i.e English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- The exam carried 150 MCQs & for each correct question will be awarded 4 marks.
- For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total marks.
- The exam was completed within 3 hours.
PAT Cut-off Score & Result card
For admission in the polytechnic diploma courses, applicants must be secured minimum qualifying marks. The cut-off depends on different factors such as the level of the exam, the number of candidates who appeared in the entrance test, and the highest or lowest score achieved by the students. Along with the result declaration, the board will be published the scorecard for individual candidates. It will be available on the board portal. The candidates can download the result card by entering the login id along with their password.
How to check the HP PAT Result 2023?
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test. The qualified candidates will require to fill out the online form to take part in the counselling process. During the counselling process, the seat will be allotted on the basis of the rank achieved by the applicants. To check the result, aspirants follow the below-given steps:

- Then click on the result link to download the result.
- To download the scorecard, applicants add their login details.
- Take a hard copy of the result and apply online for the counselling process.
